xp startup

had virus, got online as admnistrator and deleted all
virus files and registry entries for viruses.

restored winxp pro as repair. do not have any desktop
icons for any user. if i go in thru safe mode i have the
desktop icons for each user.

short of reinstalling winxp as new system is there
anything i can do?

Try copying all the icons into the All Users desktop.
