XP SP3 broke my Sony DRU 710A drive. After installing SP3 the drive does not
recognize any blank DVD media. Nero and Roxio both say media not present. If
I unistall SP3 the drive starts working again. When will Microsoft have this
problem fixed?

What is the firmware level of this drive? Did you install the IMAPI
2.0 update yet? http://support.microsoft.com/kb/932716
