XP SP2 & proprietary software

I use XP with proprietary software called Adtrack that
was designed for DOS, was updated for Windows once, but
hasn't been updated in many years. It runs just fine in
XP. Is there any reason to believe that it would have
problems if I install SP2?

There is no way to tell except to try it. Since the software is so old,
unless there are some user forums or you know someone else who has it,
I'm afraid the only way to find out is to try it.
