Hi All,

After installing XP sp2 running Office 2000 with all the new updates
installed I am having these problems.

1) "With Norton Antivirus on and scanning outgoing messages:

NAV scans the message for a long time and then returns this error:
Symantec Email Proxy: Your email message to "Someone
<[email protected]> with the subject of Subject was unable to be
sent because the connection to your mail server was interrupted.
Please open your email client and re-send the message from the Sent
Messages folder.

This message doesn't get sent but gets put in the Sent Items folder".

2) "With Norton Antivirus and Tiny Personal firewall switched off:
Outlook 2000 says it is sending message for a long time and then returns
this error:
A timeout occurred while communicating with the server.
(Account:'mail.iinet.net.au', SMTP Server:'mail.m.iinet.net.au', Error
Number:0x800ccc19)".

3) "Logging on to www.hotmail.com from Mozilla Firefox:
Progress bar hangs at the half way mark for a long time and then I get:
Alert error box: This document contains no data.
Refreshing the browser returns me to the sign-in page".

4) "Logging on to www.hotmail.com from Internet Explorer:
Progress bar hangs at the less-than-halfway mark for a long time and
then I get:
The page cannot be displayed
The page you are looking for is currently unavailable. The Web site
might be experiencing technical difficulties, or you may need to adjust
your browser settings".

Please help as at the moment I am very frusterated not being able to
access my email.

Thank You

Joe
