Windows XP Prof'l updates caused inability to use T-1/ISP internet

I work from home, using a PC with Windows XP Professional. I have automatic
updates. I also have a T-1 line for internet access. For some reason, after
the automatic updates were downloaded yesterday, my internet browser suddenly
kept telling me I wasn't able to access anything. I wasn't sure if my T-1 was
suddenly failing or if something was blocking my ability to access the
internet.

I ran a diagnostic and at first it said my firewall was causing problems, so
I disabled my Norton firewall. I ran the diagnostic again and this is what
it said:

I'm currently using a backup ISP (satellite internet) but I need to use my
T-1 internet. Can anyone help me? I'm not technically savvy...

Thanks a million,

Susan

Right-click on my network place, properties, and enable the connection other
than the 1394.

Thanks for responding to my question - actually, the connection isn't using
1394, it's using the LAN connection. Regardless, for whatever bizarre reason,
it's now working (without any alternations). More updates were downloaded
today...maybe that had something to do with it?

Thanks again for your help! - Susan
