XP SP2 problem

After upgrading to SP2 some machine's are now taking extremely long to log
into the Active Dir. This is machine specific, if the network cable is
unplugged and you log in using cached credentials it works fine. Some case's
it's taking 10 min, this sounds like a DNS or Authentication problem, but why
would it show up now after upgrading to SP2 ?
Any information is greatly appricated..

SP2 causes hundreds of nonspecific problems for which there is no answer.
Sometimes it just goes away. Other times, uninstalling SP2 and reinstalling
it later on makes it go away or causes a new and different problem.
