After installing SP2, when I right click on a folder, I get the usual menu
but some of the items do not work (most importantly the Properties). I can
see the properties of My Documents, but none of the folders contained
within.

Suggestions?

This is a well-known problem after you upgrading to SP2,, and seems to have
no direct solution (till our friends at MSFT awake from their slumbers and
fix it).

The Kelly tweak that has been suggested won't work,
in my experience and as reported by others.

Try the following work around, suggested to me by Bobby Mikkleson:

Try booting into Safe Mode with Network support and then access the
folders. This will most likely allow you to change the folder properties.

Unfortunately, when you reboot in normal mode, you still won't be able to
change the folder properties, but they will retain the settings you made in
Safe Mode.
