XP SP2 installing problem

Hi group,

I've got a brainstumper and can't really find the source of the problem.

I've got 5 brand new HP/Compaq nx6325 notebook computers that I'm doing
an install on (to get an image). Everytime I boot the machine, I will
get various errors, none of which seem to be reproducable (except the
concept of the error itself).

I've seen txtsetup.sif, the "USB Class Driver" during bootup,
ini910u.sys, and many, many others.

I've tested for memory errors on the machine with memtest86, and with
the BIOS memory testing utility. No errors. The HDD is clean because I
can boot Unix OS CDs and do work. I cleared the partition information,
hoping that a bad or odd partition information that is cleared would
solve the problem. No go!

I'm not sure what else to work with. Unix installs seems to run far
enough to know the hardware is in good shape, but the windows install
CDs don't work. Tried Win2000 CDs and WinXP CDs. These have no
built-in Floppy drives (for F6 driver install during boot), and I don't
have a USB Floppy to work with.

Any tips to get the CDs to boot far enough to do a basic install? I've
re-burned CDs thinking it was a bad CD, but it was working in the past!

Any tips, help would be appreciated.

Notebooks often use drivers that are unique to the mfr and model.
What CD's are you using? Retail, Corporate, or OEM (branded)? or OEM
recovery.
I'd likely ask HP for any info they have. (If that doesn,t work, I'd
consider returning the notebooks.)
