XP SP2 Installed, Now Error Message Keeps Popping Up

I just got the CD for XP SP2 in the mail and installed it on my
Compaq Celeron 2.5 GHz Desktop.

I then started getting the [could not find "swflash.ocx"] Error
Message quite often.

I then did a search of this newsgroup and learned that I should
reinstall the Shockwave software. I downloaded it from the
Macromedia webpage and installed it into both MS Explorer and
Mozilla 1.7 ( I mostly use Mozilla 1.7).

But this has not helped and I still receive the message all the
time.....even when I'm not connected to the internet and don't
have a browser (IE 6.0 or Mozilla 1.7) open.

It's making me crazy I tell you!

Try uninstalling Shockwave first, then rebooting and reinstalling.
