[XP SP2] How to stop IE from blocking/preventing web content from showing?

Hi, I installed SP2 a few weeks ago and I would like to stop IE from
blocking / preventing web content from showing (you all know what I mean -
that yellow bar that shows on the top edge of the view window in IE warning
that it has blocked content).

Yes i have gone into Internet Options > Privacy, and unticked "Block
Popups". But it still seems to be blocking some stuff and preventing
downloading, unless I click on the yellow bar and choose to allow download,
and refresh the page.

Any help appreciated!

Thanks
Steve

Those actions on the "Information Bar" are controlled by the Zone
Settings of IE. You would have to make customizations to allow the
activities that IB is designed to flag. It can be done, but you may be
setting yourself up for additional Malware, etc on your PC. The
settings themselves require a good bit of research to understand
what each one controls. I'm not trying to discourage you from making
changes, just be aware of what the results might be.

No, they are not. That's exactly the point. The IE help indeed states that
it's controlled by the zone settings, but it's not the case, in fact these
yellow information bar actions are controlled by the advanced options - IE
tools>advanced options >scroll down to "security" and check "allow active
content to run bla bla".
