Allow Blocked Content (opening .XML file)

G

Guadala Harry

I would like to be able to double-click on xml files and have them displayed
in IE. When I do that, IE tells me that "IE has restricted active
content...) and makes me explicitly click on "Allow Blocked Content".

How can I prevent IE from blocking this content. I don't what to have to
verify this every time I open an XML file.

Thanks!

Hi,
In Internet Options> Advanced> Security> check "Allow active content to run
in files on My Computer ." You will be giving up some of the enhanced
security of XP SP2, but I don't think there's another method of skipping the
prompt.
