Windows XP xp sp2 fax and office xp

Hi,
I have a trouble with the fax that is available by the windows.
I use windows xp sp2 and office xp.
When I am trying to send a document via fax then after a minute it fails.
However when I send a fax that consists only a cover page then I do not have any problem.
I uninstalled and installed the Fax Service many times, but in vain the problem remains.

Please Help

Are you using a Fax-Modem? ... if so, how is it connected to your land-line?

You can NOT send a Fax over cable or ADSL

Thank you for your reply.

To be honest, I cannot describe how I have connected the fax modem. However I am sure that the problem is not with the connection of the fax-modem with the land-line, because I do not have any problem when I send just a cover page. When I send a send a fax that consists only of a cover page (via the option “Send a Fax” ) then the fax works.

I believe that there is a problem between office and the windows xp fax, but I don’t Know what to do.
