XP SP2 creates IE 6 parsing error

XP SP2 creates IE 6.x error when attempting to access secure sites:

Error parsing Voucher

We thought it was an individual site issue but then the same user
experiences the same message from multiple secure sites when accessing an
existing user account.

Where would one go look for cause and solution?
