XP SP2 bad icon on edge of desktop . . .

Hi,

on my desktop in the top left edge is part of an icon with an "X" in a
tiny white box.
there is a white box border around it.
it looks like an icon but i cant see all of it. its cut off.

i looked "documents and settings" deskyop - and all icons
are accounted for .no extras

strange annoying problem.
any idea how to get rid of it ???

Open control panel/Display, to the Desktop tab, "Customize Desktop" button,
Web tab. Unlock the desktop, and remove the check from that web page.
