Since installing sp2 I've been unable to connect to the
net, at least I connect to my isp's server but no pages
can be displayed. I have a dial up connection and my isp
is supanet.com. I had zone alarm's firewall but turned
that off before installing sp2 incase of conflict and
accepted microsoft's firewall. What's happening and how
can I resolve it? I have had to go back to restore point
before install to connect, if this problem can be solved
do I just choose to undo the restore to get back the sp2
updates?
Thanks, Rod.

I have the same problems, but with dsl,

in IE look like page cannot be display, but other program
like torrent to kazaa are working fine,

The only way to fix it is disabling all firewall, (windows
and other), aditional, unistalling all viruscan, so now i
do not have firewall or viruscan, i am going to change
again to win xp sp1...!!!!

Reinstate your security. Open the TCP/IP properties of the connection,
General tab, Advanced Propeties, Options tab, TCP/IP filtering propeties
and check Enable, change Permit Only to Permit All on the three
ports/protocols.
