XP SP-2 RC1

The SP-2 beta upgrade is available on the TechNet site. Has anyone
downloaded it? Does it really take 4 hrs over DSL/Cable? That seems a tad
bit long, don't you think?

If you'd looked closely you'd have seen that was based on a download speed
of 128kps (which isn't broadband at all in my book, more like dual-line
ISDN). Therefore you need to divide the speed as appropriate - halve it for
256, quarter it for 512, by eight for 1Mbps and so on.

I downloaded it a couple of nights ago and it took about 35 minutes on DSL
for me. So far it's been running fine.
