USB 2.0 on XP SP 2

I am using XP Professional SP 2 and do not have any "Enhanced" USB 2.0
drivers appearing in my Device Manager. I can download but not install the
Microsoft USB 2.0 driver. The error says that it can only be installed with
SP 1. I recently bought a USB device that requires the Microsoft Enhanced
USB driver. Has anyone seen this before?

USB2 is more that just drivers it is "hardware" as well, you may need to buy
a usb2 pci card from you local retailer.(their pretty cheap$$ $40 US dollars
will get you one with maybe 4 ports).
If your system originally came with usb1 then you will need to buy a new
card for usb2,
sorry.
Just out of curiosity what kind of device did you buy? most products will
still work if you use usb1 but they will work at a much slower rate.
