I had to do a windows repair, everything works fine now, but boot up times
and the the time it takes to load everything in on the desktop it slower
since doing the windows repair. What could be causing this, and I was
windering if there are any tools I could use to fix this? I have already
done a defrag.

How slow is it now?

What specific kind of repair did you do? Do you mean a repair install, aka
in place upgrade using the XP installation CD?

Did you install all the updates from windows update?

You could try some clean boot troubleshooting to see if you can identify
where the slow down occurs.

Re-install any/all drivers especially chipset/IDE/SATA and video card
drivers.
