Recently my Dell Precision 670 desk top pc has been slow to boot. Also, during the boot sequence I'm prompted to strike the F1 key to continue. What might be the cause of this and how can I fix the problem?

At which point do you have to press F1? Could you let us know the full message when you see this? :)

The CMOS/BIOS battery cured the problem. Thanks for sharing your expertise.
