xp & SiS Graphics Driver

When I rebooted my computer a message came up that said
my system had recovered from a serious error so I
submitted an error report which came up with this:

*Thank you for submitting an error report. The error was
likely caused by:

SiS Graphics Driver

SiS Graphics Driver was created by Silicon Integrated
Systems Corporation. Silicon Integrated Systems
Corporation has updates for SiS Graphics Driver that may
correct the problem you reported. To learn more about the
updates, see the Silicon Integrated Systems Corporation
Web site.*

There were 2 updates available: Sis300 and Sis630.
How could I find out which update to use?
If operating disks of any kind are needed, they were not
supplied, as I bought my computer 12 months ago with
everything installed.
Thank you for your help :)

Whichever one is in your machine. It is on the screen when first booting but your monitor is warming up when it's shown (so you may never see it).

It will likely be listed in the Bill Of Sale or in the manual. Also type Device Manager in help and look at the entry for your video. Type msinfo32 in Start - Run and look there too.
