xp shuts down unexpectedly

I have had this problem for some time now and cant seem to fix it, cpu temp
ok, and windows just shuts down without warning and randomly.

Last shutdown brought up a blue screen with this.

A problem has been detected & windows has been shut down to prevent damage
to your computer.

If this is the first time you’ve seen this stop error screen, restart your
computer. If this screen appears again, follow these steps.

Check to sure you have adequate disk space. If a driver is identified in the
stop message, disable the driver or check with the manufacturer for diver
updates. Try changing video adapters.

Check with your hardware vendor for any BIOS updates, disable BIOS memory
options such as caching or shadowing, restart your computer, press F8 to
select advanced options and then select safe mode.

Physical memory dump complete
Contact your system administrator or technical support group for further
assistance.

When I managed to get the computer working again a windows dialogue box came
up with this.

Any ideas, please help?

That doesn't sound like a .NET programming question.

You should find a newsgroup that actually is pertinent to the question.
Not only will your question be on-topic there, you're likely to
receive better answers too.

You need to post your issue in a Windows group (rather than in this .NET
programming group) .
To find the group you need:

http://www.microsoft.com/communitie...spx?guid=1080912A-26C5-7040-AFDD-2224A4FEB3EA

Select your language from the Tree View on the left, then scroll down to
Windows. In Windows, select Windows XP and find an applicable
group there.
