XP shutdown

XP is shutting down when i am on-line. message
is "Remote Procedure Call" terminated unexpectedly.
Thanks for your consideration.
 
Installing the patch does not completely remove the worm.
Symantec makes a worm removal too. Use that, but make
sure to disable the system recovery before using it and
re-enable it afterward.

As soon as you can! You are running the 32-bit version

Also enable Windows XP's built in firewall:

Then go to WindowsUpdate to pick up the latest updates:
