XP Service Pack1

In a nut shell, when Windows update attempts to install
Service Pack 1 it starts to DL then it quits and I get an
error message that "No Updates were Installed" and to try
again. I have a 1.7Ghz AMD processor running Windows XP
Pro. I would appreciate any assistance.

Navigate to the following and delete the contents of CatRoot2:
C:\WINDOWS\system32\CatRoot2
then try it.
