XP service pack

Since downloading the service pack everything is sso slow
especially Outlook Express. Is there any way to solve
this problem?
 
After you installed SP1 did you do defrags several times over the next week
or so? If not, that's a good place to start.
 
The Service Pack install completely removes the Prefetch
data from your install. This is part of the Defragmentation
process that puts drivers and apps at the start of your disk
drive for quicker access. After 3-days this data will be
recreated and some of the "Quickness" will return.
However, a full defrag of your C: drive will immediately
help with the problem you describe.
