Just installed SP2 to XP home edition. Now every time I
click on a link in Outlook Express, OE locks up.
Everything else seems to work fine, but I have to use the
task manager to close OE and then start over.
HELP!!
Bob Lange

OE locks up, and the link does not open. I can open
another window and do whatever I want, but the OE page is
frozen in time.

Try a little TLC:

Don't use Inbox or Sent Items to archive messages. Move them to local
folders created for this purpose.

Frequently perform a manual compact of all OE folders while "working
offline". More at http://insideoe.tomsterdam.com/files/maintain.htm.

Your anti-virus application's email scanning feature can also cause such
corruption. Disable it. It provides no additional protection. (Your
anti-virus app's 'script blocking' tool may be causing the problem, too.)
