XP Screen Saver Policy Not Working

J

Joe Ball

All of my Windows XP Pro Clients do not have access to
change there screen savers. It is grayed out for them.
They can change the power settings however.

If they do not login into the domain and log into the
local computer they are able to modify the screensaver,
but when they log into the domain they cannot.

I have checked everywhere on the domain. The Policy that
governs there OU is set to allow everything and does
except this screen saver setting.

Could someone please help me with this??!!

Thanks

Joe

Try running rsop.msc on the XP client and check the policy setting to verify
that the setting isn't coming from a domain policy. The tool will tell you
the effective setting and which policy it came from.
