XP Restore

We use Office 97 and Office2k at work. Office 2k is an
upgrade disk whereas Office 97 is the full version.

I have installed Developer onto a users pc in the
workplace, Developer is on disk 2 of our Office 2k disk-
set.
Unfortunately after installing developer the Windows XP PC
has become really buggy.

What i want to do is a system restore to the day before i
installed Office 2k.
What files does the XP restore function remove.
