XP restarts after shutdown

When I want to shutdown my PC, XP restarts once. When it restarts I log on
like I always do and than I shut it down again. Than it doesn't restart
anymore.
Here's what it says after the first shutdown:

"C:\DOCUME~1\jurgen\LOCALS~1\Temp\WERe6d1.dir00\Mini112206-01.dmp
C:\DOCUME~1\jurgen\LOCALS~1\Temp\WERe6d1.dir00\sysdata.xml"

A colleague told me it's a problem with my profile. How can I solve this?

try changing your boot settings, start-run- type: "msconfig" , and change the
settings
