XP resources to old DOS based games

I am working with a frien on XP Pro and installing an old game called Master
of Magic. It wants you to set up the audio pref. (So old no auto-detect)
issue is not able to get resources that are in range of game mechanics. help
please.

Hi Devia,

XP does not support direct hardware access by software under any conditions.
I would speculate that you are not going to be able to get that to work.
