xp repair installation

i need to perform a repair installation of xp. how do get
the computer to start up from the cd-rom drive? steve.
 
Steve;
Check your manual on how to enter the BIOS.
During boot, there will be a message similar to "Press ** to enter
Setup"
Common keys are F1, F2, Esc, Delete and others.

Then simply set the CDROM as a boot device before the hard drive.
