no repair (R) option available for slipstreamed Win XP SP2

Hi,

I'm using a slipstreamed version of Windows XP Professional SP2 and when I
boot from CD, there's no R option available to perform a repair install. If
I use the original Windows XP cd-rom with no service packs on it, there's a
Repair option available.

I've made the CD by using WinCDman. Any ideas??

I just found out repair by slipstream cd is not supported by MS. Mine did
gave me R option but would not accept any product key including one ms gave
me in attempt to solve the problem!

However if you have enough space on your disk drive, you could repair from a
hard disk slip streamed i386 by the sp2 update utility. And if you run into
problem with that the phone call support to your regional ms office is free
from MS. Of course be prepare to give your full name, email address, phone
number zip/postal code in addition to the product key.

I got the following for my case. I will try them tonight
Copy your original cd onto hard drive and slip stream and do an
in place upgrade from there.
