Lynda

The people I bought my computer from put XP on it. They
did not use my product code so I cannot register other
programs. How do I take this one out and reload my copy
onthe computer. I have a start up floppy, and a Xp CD.

Hi Lynda
Boot your computer up from your CD and you can reinstall your copy from
scratch..it will give you the option to remove and reinstall.

Greetings --

Simply boot from the WinXP installation CD and pay careful
attention to the on-screen instructions and prompts. You'll be
offered the opportunity to delete, create, and format partitions as
part of the installation process.

The Product ID should be on a sticker on the side of the machine, but that
is the product ID for WinXP, not for the other programs.
