I have an interesting problem. I was running XP pro and dropped in a new board and processor. Everything booted fine until Windows Xp was about to start and then it would reboot my system and start the loop all over again. Computer ran great before this. I ended up having to reinstall xp and Im not sure why I had to do that. My buddy just added 512M of ram to his computer and he had the exact same problem happen to him...Can someone give me some insight on the problem so I can avoid it in the future
Thanks in advance

yeah you cant add a new mobo, it breaks xp (and 2000). You had it set to
auto reboot. However, had you not ahve had that set, it would have vblue
screened with "inaccessible_boot_device" (i think). Either reinstall, or
repair install would ahve sorted it.

Cant see why adding extra RAM would do it though... Unless it was dodgy, and
again causing it to blue screen
