I've deleted two Adobe Illustrator files and this action
has sent them to the Recycle Bin 'as it should have', but
the two files now cannot be deleted or restored from the
Recycle Bin. The files are in effect stuck in the Recycle
Bin.
The actions of Emptying the Recycle Bin, deleting the
files from within the Recycle Bin, or attempting to
Restore the files from the Recycle Bin always causes the
following error message to display...
Cannot delete De6: It is being used by
another person or program.
Close any programs that might be using the
file and try again.
The error message always refers to the two files as De5
or De6, which are not their file names.
I've used the Task Manager to ensure that there are no
other programs running which might be using these files
to the best of my abilities.
There certainly are no other people using these files and
I'm using the same user log-in identity that I used to
create and delete the files (sending them to the Recycle
Bin) in the first place.
Can anyone suggest a method for removing these two files
from the Recycle Bin? Again, the menu commands for
deleteing or restoring the files are not working from
within the Recycle Bin for these two files. All other
files sent to the Recycle Bin can be deleted or restored
from the Recycle Bin without difficulty.
Thank you.
