XP Reboot each time when i insert CD.....

XP(Professional SP1) Reboot each time when i insert CD.....even i tried
to repair it but when i boot from XP's CD , It shows -
Boot from CD :

And then it again restarts so my i am also unable to boot from CD what
should i do.....

Also sometimes at startup it shows ntoskrnl.exe is corupted so now
without repairing how can i get this file or other system files
......pls help me....

I highly doubt you have an OS problem, since you can not even boot from a
CD.

I would suspect either a bad cd/dvd drive or a bad RAM chip (specifically
the the cd drives firm ware is buffering to a static RAm address and that is
physically corrupt).

A new cd drive is cheeapo online. tigerdirect, geeks.com, or newegg are
just a few decent online merchants. Or you can go to the local
CompBestCircuit mart.

The ram can be tested using a ram scanning program. I would usualy reccomed
the ultimate boot cd http://www.ultimatebootcd.com/ but since your cd drive
is all snarfed up, try http://oca.microsoft.com/en/windiag.asp
