I purchased windows XP Pro to install on a Laptop that had
Windows xp home after about 6 weeks the laptop died am I
allowed to Install this XP Pro on a new Laptop I just
purchased Which also has xp home or must I buy another
copy of XP Pro Thanks

Yes, if WinXP Pro license is a retail license, you can transfer it
to another computer.
