I bought the full version of xp pro, and am looking for
information on how to uninstall windows xp home
version...any help out there

If you want to upgrade to Pro, just insert the XP Pro CD and select upgrade
.. No need to uninstall Home (Which you can't do anyway)

Hi,

there is no acutal button to uninstall the xp home
version. you will have to take a back up of all the data
files and then format the partition on which XP Home was
installed and then install XP Pro from fresh.

If you want to install XP Professional you can use your Full
version to upgrade XP Home. No need to uninstall Home first.

However note that the OEM version (which many people confuse with
the Full version) can not do an upgrade and must be installed
cleanly.
