xp pro upgrade won't fully install

I have a HP Pavilion a1211n
AMD Athlon64 3500
Came with xp home
I bought the xp pro upgrade to install.
It seems to install except for at the end, when it restarts, it keeps
looping. I see the windows logo, then it restarts.
Any help would be great.

I am having a very similar problem with an Hp Pavillion ze4800 when i
tried to upgrade to sp2. i just wanted you to know your not alone, if
anyone could help that would be great
