XP Pro Upgrade - Acer 290

I upgraded to XP Pro, and now none of the USB ports work.

Anyone know how to fix this problem?

Thanks for that URL, but that does not have a solution to
my problem. All of the USB ports are "dead", and I cannot
figure out how to get them back "alive" after the upgrade
from XP home to XP Pro.

Any other suggestions?
 
Do they "appear" in Device Manager. If yes, delete ALL USB devices and
ports. Then, reboot Windows and let it re-detect the USB stuff.
