xp pro sysprep issue

After running sysprep and rebooting, some shortcuts are
displayed on the desktop (MSN and Windows Media Player)
which were not there before. I used syprep.inf file to
automate mini set-up using setup manager. How can I
deactivate this so that when I do sysprep again these
shortcuts wont come up after rebooting.

We uninstall MSN, which is well hidden by MS: add/remove programs>windows
components.

It's actually a fairly detailed process to get everything you want "just
so", but simply put: create the desired user profile and copy it to the
"default user" profile. Remove anything you don't want from the "all users"
profile. Then sysprep.

Search for WMPOCM

and [components] or sysocmgr if you need more info
