XP Pro scan disk or chkdsk starts always at boot

I have a system with a new HD of 80 Giga 7200 rpi and
installed dual boot win98 and win xp. I use multiple
users in XP.
For some time it worked well. Now every time I boot up XP
launches chkdsk in all the Drives: C, D, E, F, H, G,
I found a similar problem in win 98, but nothing on XP.
Anyone can help?

Did you try starting in the xp safe mode and then choose Last Known Good
Configuartion?
