XP Pro Raid Driver Install on SATA Drive

I am trying to install XP Pro on a SATA drive so it will be
my boot drive. I have the needed drivers on a floppy, but
the problem is I can not get F6 to work when set up
initializes. You know how during set up it tells you to
push F6 if you have to install raid or 3rd party drivers.
Well it does nothing. I've tried 3 keyboards, 2 USB and
one PS/2 and each time I press F6 nothing happens. Every
other Function key during the install process for what ever
purpose works, except F6 to install my RAID drivers. I
even hit F6 and let setup continue only to have it say that
it did not recognize my hard drive.

Does anyone have any ideas? Any help would be appreciated.

Just went through that...

It appears F6 doesn't work for a while, but at the appropriate time it
prompts for the floppy. It has to be a floppy (no CDs allowed), and the OEM
data has to be on the root directory of the floppy (no subdirectories).

Do you have a nonstandard floppy that is not recognized by XP when
installing?
