XP Pro Long...Time to Login

Hi

I just upgraded one computer to XP Pro SP1. The computer ist a member of a
W2K Domain Network. Wenn the user logs into the W2K Domain Server it take 3 -
4 Minutes to log in.
What could be wrong ?? There is no problem between W2k Computer and W2k
Domain server at all.

Make sure you've set up DNS properly. The server should look to itself
for DNS with forwarding zones set up for the Internet. The workstations
should look to the server for DNS with the gateway set appropriately
for your network.

Hi Malke

Thank you. The DNS on every Machine incl. the Server points directly to the
DNS of the Internet provider. We don't use the Server to go to the Internet.
Whta i can't understand is, that it work without any proplem on W2k, and not
on XP !!
