XP Pro installation glitch

Elaine

Upgraded XP Pro from W2K. During installation, was not
asked to register or activate. Now extremely slow to boot
or freezes with this message:
PXE-E51:No DHCP or proxy DHCP offers were received
PXE-MOF:exiting intel PXE ROM
Drive not ready-system halted
Reinstall?
Thanks

Did you use an authentic "Microsoft Windows XP Professional Upgrade CD"?

This message is from the BIOS as your computer is configured to boot from
the network card. PXE stands for Pre Execution Environment.
