New install, machine hangs everytime once the GUI section of the
install starts. This is an Intellistation M-Pro with dual PIII 1GHz.
One SCSI card, one scsi disk.

I have the latest BIOS updates for SCSI, system board (IBM
Intellistation M-Pro), and NVidia Quadro2 MXR. Any idea what is going
on here?

Have you checked the IBM website for any tech support information
and/or driver updates for Windows XP on your specific model?

Good luck

Yes, came up empty.

I have found a solution though. A new motherboard made for the same
machine with a different part number will work. I see no differences
between the two mother boards by looking at them. But I have verified
it (more than once) that these newer units will work.
