Hi,

I have XP pro, and it installs just fine. After install,
the little blue "kit" loading animation, stops after one
cycle. I am able to go into safe mode after a hard reset
and view error logs. Please help! This is a loading issue,
and I need to fail safe over it so I can use this product.
I bought it, and I want to use it. Windows 2000 worked
just fine on this machine and works on almost every other
machine I administer, fix, whatever. Why is XP broken!

Thank you,

Daniel

Ok,

I have now given up, and have decided to stick to what
works. After reading other posts, I cannot rely on XP for
a development machine, at least the primary one.

I would like to make a request to Microsoft engineering,
to have floppy installations that work for XP, and Windows
server 2003. Relying on CD drives to install, is not the
best option, with the amount of hardware out there, that
has not come up to spec with driver development to support
these operating environments. Microsoft certified drivers
are very expensive due to the requirements of Microsoft
for this certification.

Please take the engineering effort, to make fail safe, or
close to fail safe floppy install disks. This works 99% of
the time for windows 2000 based systems, and I have come
to expect this. The OS always boots, even if all of the
devices cannot be setup on install. I hope something will
be done to accommodate the rest of the population who
cannot afford to update hardware at the same time as the
OS.

Thank you.
