I'm trying to install a second install of XP on my
computer, on a different drive. The reason is so I can
optimize the OS for music on one partition, and whatever
on the second. When I try to do this, I get an error
about 1/2 way through the 2nd part of the install, saying
something about a cyclictic error. I have to reboot, and
never get the second OS install complete,

Is there a specific way to do this. Do I need to remove
the OS dick withdows is on now, and then install the OS
on the the second drive, making it the master while I'm
doing this..

Either way, where can I get info on this kind of thing?

George

BTW The tech info support says the CD is dirty, but I
garantee you it's not.

Try using a program like Boot Magic, which is included with Partition Magic.
Well worth the money.
