XP Pro Hibernation & Standy Settings Deleted

The original settings for both Standby and Hibernate have been deleted in my
Power Options selection area. I am unable to re-enter any settings. I am
using Windows XP Pro, Version 2002 with SP2.

The system will not recover from Standby or Hibernation without pressing the
power button until the whole system shuts down, then must be re-booted.

MY QUESTION: Is there a way I can restore the default settings that came
with the system WITHOUT having to re-install Windows (don't want to lose all
my other settings in the process) and WITHOUT using System Restore (oldest
restore point still has hibernate/standby settings deleted)?
