Hey,
I am having a problem with Windows XP Professional. I installed it onto my
laptop, and I like to hibernate it when i finish using it for a while, when
i know that i will come back to it in an hour or so. Well, when i bring it
out of hibernation, it says that my battery is completely empty, at 0%. When
it has been charging all night long! I plug the laptop back in and pull out
the battery then put the battery back, it says that the battery is fully
charged or just fine. Sometimes i get caught in an endless loop because i
bring it out of hibernation then when i log on it tries to put it back into
hibernation because the battery is dying. Is this a common problem in
windows XP? Is there a fix? Any help greatly appreciated!

Thank You

Try turning off the battery alarm, temporary solution however.
1.. Open Power Options in Control Panel.
2.. Click the Alarms tab.
3.. In Low battery alarm and Critical battery alarm, specify the
settings you want by dragging the slider.
4.. Click Alarm Action to select the type of alarm notification and
power level you want.
