XP Pro failing Help with trouble shooting

Not sure if its software of hardware. But I have a feeling it's the video
card. I have two horisontal lines on the far left of my screen. It blue
screened last night, but the screen was flickering badly. I did make out
something on the ATI in which is my care. The lap top, Dell Inspiron 9400
was really hot. Warranty was up in May and had them go through it and fix
this and that.
New key board, fans, heat sink, etc. So any help on the error logs or where
to start. Or you can have a look??? thanks

Hi
Looks as though the fan has failed and fried the graphics.
Return it to Dell and insist the repairs that were previously done
were faulty and need rectifying.

Might just be a time to get another laptop.
I just hookedup the s-video to my big screen and there is no lines
Any thoughts on this?

Laptops should not be used in one's laptop for extended periods of
time!
